WEEKLY WORSHIP
  • Our worship services encourage the family to worship together.
  • The church also provides Sunday School for all ages.

Saturday

  • 5pm Alternative Worship in Sanctuary with childcare.

Sunday

  • 9:00 am Worship in Sanctuary (children also start in Sanctuary) and Christian Education for all ages
  • 11 am Worship in Sanctuary with childcare

Summer Breakfast fellowship is offered on Sundays - the first Sunday in July to Labor Day.

HEALING SERVICES - The 5th Sunday in any month having one.

THANKSGIVING EVE - Wednesday Evening Worship at 7:00 pm.

ADVENT - Four Sundays, devoted to preparation for Christmas.

CHRISTMAS - Christmas Eve Family and Candlelight worship and Christmas Morning Celebration.

EASTER - Easter Vigil and Easter Day Celebration.

PENTECOST - Celebrating the gift of the Holy Spirit.


SUNDAY CHURCH SCHOOL- 9:45am, Sept. to June. Classes are available from Preschool (age 3) through adult. There are a variety of adult courses offered.

CONFIRMATION - This is a two year program for 7th and 8th grade students. Upon completion, they affirm their Baptism in the Rite of Confirmation on Pentecost.

FIRST COMMUNION - Offered to children expressing an interest in and understanding of the sacrament. Preparation involves parents, child and Pastor.

... VACATION BIBLE EXPERIENCE - Offered to learners from 3 to 103, each summer.

COMMUNITY MUSIC CAMP - Two weeks of instrumental and vocal instruction, offered each summer.

CHOIRS - Vocal instruction which also enriches our worship. Traditional, contemporary and youth.

DISCUSSION GROUPS - Exploring current events from a Christian perspective.

THROUGH THE STUDY OF THE BIBLE, theology, history of the Church, social ministry and related topics, we learn what it means "through love, to be servants of one another."


THE HUNGRY - We help our congregation and neighborhood with our Food Pantry. We also support the Maryland Food Bank and ELCA Hunger Program.

THE SICK AND SHUT INS - Our Visitation Program helps people cope with infirmities and loneliness.

ST. LUKE LUTHERAN CHURCH WOMEN - Bible studies, service projects, and fellowship are all part of our Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church (WELCA) program.

YOUTH - Kidz Nite Inn, for ages 3 to 16, is every Friday at 6pm.


12 STEP PROGRAMS - Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) - Monday and Saturday at 6:30pm

Narcotics Anonymous (NA) - Sunday and Wednesday at 8:00pm; Thursday at 8:30pm
